About Makes Perfect
Makes Perfect is a web app for practising the decisions that matter on the Irish practical driving test. You don't need an account, and your progress stays on your own device.
How it works
Each scene is a real situation: a roundabout, a junction, a crossing. You set out what you'd do in order, then press Play and watch it run. If a step is wrong, the run stops and tells you why, with a link to the source.
Scenes are simplified teaching diagrams set at real roads near driving test centres. They aren't test routes and they aren't navigation. Always follow the actual signs, markings and conditions on the road.
Where the content comes from
Rules are based on the Road Safety Authority's Rules of the Road, and each lesson cites the section it relies on. The wording is our own. Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL.
Not official
Makes Perfect is unofficial. It isn't affiliated with or endorsed by the Road Safety Authority, Prometric or the Government of Ireland. It doesn't replace Essential Driver Training or an approved driving instructor.
