Road signs / 30 km/h limit
30 km/h limit sign
What does the number tell you? The maximum speed, when conditions allow.
What it means
A posted speed limit is a maximum, not a target. Slow further for conditions. This example does not state a speed limit for any real road.
Answers that lose you marks
- Wrong: The minimum speed to maintain.
