Newtown Junction Practice
Identify the obstruction, then emerge safely. An advanced scene set at Newtown Road · R683 in Waterford.
The situation
A van near the junction reduces your view. Identify it and scan both directions. In this exercise, the stopped viewpoint provides a full view once traffic clears.
What makes it tricky
A car is passing the junction. Do not commit while its path crosses yours.
The rule
Do not emerge on the strength of an incomplete view. On a real road, move forward cautiously only as far as is safe to improve visibility, remaining ready to stop.

Getting it right
